I went in for my first wax and I'm not going to lie it did hurt but the lady who did it made my experience awesome! She was patient with me and allowed me to scream as much as i needed to. She held good conversation so that i would not notice that she was about to rip the strip off. I would definitely recommend this place! And did I mention it looks AMAZING!!!

I love going to EWC in Glen Carbon! I have been going to Melissa for a couple of years now and she is amazing. She is so thorough and does a great job! The office staff is always so friendly and kind as well! I highly recommend booking with European Wax Center! They will take care of you!

To the location at 1103 S state St, Chicago IL

My niece and daughter attend college in Chicago. They went to this location on 11/4/17 in the afternoon only to have been mistreated and turned away for services. This was going to be their first Brazilian wax so their nerves were a bit high. Instead of their attendant (a foreign lady) being kind and reassuring, she said things like "you need to calm down or leave". That was totally uncalled for. 
After preparing them for service their friends were rudely spoken to and told to leave the room. Services were never rendered for technical reasons but the way the attendant communicated it was disreapectful. Little did this lady know that these girls were going to refer a fleet of other ladies to this place, but now they aren't.

The receptionist are always welcoming when I check in and when I leave out. My wax specialist is Claire, I highly recommend her! She’s educated, sweet, & makes you feel comfortable the entire time.

Love the atmosphere! Staff is always helpful in booking and with services. THE WAX HERE IS THE BEST! I promise you it is at least worth a try! They usually have a first time promotion so don't miss out.
