Great gym with great trainers. It's tough and challenging every single workout, and it it overall a fun environment to workout in. Plenty of equipment and it is all in good condition. Recommend to anyone who is looking to get healthier and stronger.

Why do I post a selfie every time I'm finished with a workout? For many reasons:

1). First and foremost to thank my awesome trainer Evven Carrion for all of her hard work with me. She's the best and I love and appreciate her and all that she does for me. I like giving credit where it is due! 

2). To give a shout out to Evoke Fitness, the awesome gym where I train at. It's like a family and I wouldn't be where I am today without them! Again, I like to give credit where credit is due! 

3). In hopes that I will inspire others to get off their butts and get active. It's good for you, it keeps the doctor away, and prevents medical problems down the road. If I can inspire just one person to get active, I've done my job! 

4). I'm passionate about fitness. I hope some of that rubs off onto others and helps them to chase their goals and dreams too. 

5). To keep track of my progress and to remember how far I've come. Life is a journey. Enjoy the ride! All of it. The highs and the lows.

If you're like me, you want to be fit and healthy but something always gets in the way.  Usually that something is motivation.  Maybe you start out strong but quickly give up.  Maybe you haven't found something active that you're willing to do on a regular basis.  I realized that I can't and won't kick my own ass adequately.  Even Olympians - arguably some of the most motivated and focused humans on the planet - realize they need trainers too.  Having people who can see your work and honestly assess your effort and aptitude is essential for me.  The encouragement from the trainers and variety of exercises along with the camaraderie of being in a group of like-minded individuals lends itself to an enjoyable way to be successful at getting and staying fit and healthy.

Evoke is more than just an amazing gym - it is a family. There is so much positive energy and camaraderie!  At Evoke, it is truly the trainers that make the difference. They are unbelievably dedicated and go out of their way to encourage, support and help you be a stronger and healthier version of yourself. The 30-Day Body Challenge is an excellent way to jump start or continue your fitness journey. (By the way, I would have given this 10 stars if it was possible!)
