Be very careful when you intend to buy from this dealer. Just some of the facts here:
After a long day we were tired and told the car dealer our budget is 4000$ and that we don't need anything fancy, but reliable since we have 3 kids and can't afford another car in case this one brakes down. He showed us a white Lexus GS 300 and was ready to give us a very good price on it - he went down from 6000$ to 4000$. Here is the list of things we didn't like:

1. We initially didn't want to buy from a dealer but ended up there because of the misleading post on craigslist. This dealer had posted a car in the "by owner" section to get more people to his shop.
2. When we wanted to test drive the car, the battery was already very weak and it only started after the dealer charged the battery. He said it had been standing there for some time and that this is why it didn't start. But that was not true, it simply didn't start because the car needed a new battery.
3. We asked if he can give us a 1-year warranty and the dealer said that there was no warranty on the "small things" but that we didn't need to worry because there was a one year warranty on the engine and the transmission by law. This was a lie. We found out that this only applies to licensed car dealers which this dealer is not.
4. Before buying the car, we brought it to a car repair shop to have it checked. They said that the engine was leaking oil and in order to be able to drive it we would have to refill the oil once a week. They said the engine was cleaned thoroughly so that it was not easy see how big the damage actually was. They also said the battery was this low that they even were not able to read it out anymore.

This car would probably have broken down shortly after purchase and when we returned it back to the dealer after having it checked he didn't seem surprised at all and only asked whether we were interested in checking out his other cars which we of course did not want.
So please be very careful before buying a car here and make sure you invest the 80$ to have the car checked by a professional before buying it. And be aware -  they are still trying to sell the Lexus for 4950$. Good luck.
