As a student, the agency ripped us off ! We were in Gainesville for 4 months, the agency made a 6 months contracts, promising us to find other people to rent the apartment after us and we wouldn't have to pay 2 months without living in the apartment. We finally had to pay. We assume other people still rent the apartment!

This agency shamelessly wasted our time and money and now we are left scrambling to make arrangements for a home. After being told numerous times a rental property was "pet friendly" and being prepared to pay the agreed upon pet deposit ($200 per pet) they blindsided us with the stipulation that even WITH deposits pets could NEVER be indoors, and violations would result in 3 days notice to vacate. The pet policy was the FIRST thing asked about in my numerous phone calls and multiple visits (from 45 miles away) to see property. I understand some rentals don't allow pets, and that's fine, but they should have been up front and honest. "Pet friendly" does NOT mean a dog chained up on the front porch, especially AFTER a deposit and pet fee are paid. It's a shame they feel they have to lie in order to generate interest in their rental properties. I wouldn't deal with this company again if my very life depended on it, and I would encourage others to think long and hard prior to getting involved in any dealings with this company.
