Very affordable accommodation, suitable for extended stay guest, just as the name suggests. Offers a grab and go like breakfast consisting of a cup of coffee, an apple and a chewy snack. There is no restaurant or room service. Guest can use the laundry on self service basis. There is a vending machine at the laundry. Some of the front desk staffs are friendly, some aren't.

I had my previous experience in Torrance CA, but judging by that standard, the experience at the Woodlands is appalling. They advertise that breakfast is included; folks like me who will not get time to cook in the morning will depend on this. But they did not refill their stock of breakfast from the time I checked in. They would say "We are out of oatmeal", "We are out of Granola bars". I'm a Vegetarian and cannot take the cupcake which has egg in it. I was literally left to live on coffee that morning. I used the room to stay in the night after my work. I did not open the bedsheets, used my own. There were spider webs in one corner of the room. I could smell mold as I enter the room. The stove was tilted at 30 degrees and no use to cook. It took them 5 days to correct after I reported it on day 1. The TV is not much use with an incompatibile remote. The bath was good.

I had a short work stay and Nichole at the front counter was absolutely FANTASTIC in all aspects. She welcomed me with a smile and helped with all my out of the box needs for my extended stay. Breakfast was as expected but it was ready and left a little after the time for us late risers. I recommend this place if Nichole is on shift, she’s awesome.

Rudest Manager ever. Tried charging my card without authorization 12 different times after I left. I burnt a tea bag in the room accidentally in so we all know what that smells like. She called me after checkout and talk to me terribly unlike a customer but an enemy. Without permission she attempted to charge my card 12 different amount. So many times that my bank alerted me of fraud. She started in the high $200's and went down from there until her last charge of $10. None of them went through but it still legal to run my card without authorization especially several times at different amounts with no explanation. Housekeeping is very nice there, the young man that works overnight is very very nice but the girl who works the front desk during the day will not Bend an inch to help a customer even if it means checking in 5 minutes early. With people like that running the place, it's how you lose long-term business such as mine instead of keeping it.

If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. Staff was rude and wouldn’t give out managers information when requested. There was 2 COCKROACHES IN THE ROOM! I took pictures for proof and all. Stay away from this place.
