An older Marriott property but very quaint and comfortable.  One of the best beds I've had in a long time.   Very clean and super friendly staff.

We will never step foot in the place again!!!!!! 
The first room they tried to put us in. Had a very strong smell of urine Which hit you the second you opened the door.
We went right to the service counter and asked for a different room. Which we could tell they didnt like to much. But they did put us in another room. The second room was dirty. There were used katchup packets on the floor and cracker crumbs on the floor and in the restroom.. Also the air didnt work. We went to the service desk again (twice within 20 min) The rude girl behind the counter came to our room. She offered to clean up the ketchup packets and the crackers. Which we already had done ourselves. She stated she was the one the cleaned the room and couldnt see how she could have missed the mess.
As far as the air. She stated that it was cold outside and that we could open the window and bring us a fan. At the price of this place. The air should work and not have to use a fan. The next morning. They said they would put us in another room (the 3rd room). They needed us to leave room #2 and wait an hour to get into room #3. We where with out a room for almost 3 hours. Room #3 was fine everything worked. On the second day in room #3. We left to take care of something s. When we came back the bathroom light was out. We notified them as soon as we found it. It took them 24 hours to fix the issue. Some of the employee act like its a bother to ask for something. Not all of them. But others are something else. They need to have a training course on customer service at this hotel. We where going to stay here for 3 to 4 weeks. As we are in town for work. We left after the first week and went to another hotel. 
If you are looking for a great friendly place to enjoy your stay while away from home. Stay a Country inn and suite in Brooklyn Center. They treat you the way you should be.

I was assigned to room 109. It was so bright with the spot light they have shining on the window I couldn't sleep. There are no blackout curtains. I've attached a picture taken at 3am. Everything else about the room and staff were great, but if you can't sleep at the hotel, what's the point?

Close to Shopping and convenient. Rooms are neat and clean.
