I was appalled at the sight of dirty cages at a recent visit. Buying a puppy from a pet store like this supports the evil puppy mill industry. If you really want a puppy, GO to a rescue or find a reputable breeder. This is NOT the place to find that. 

I asked where the puppies were purchased and was told they can not share that information. The ONLY information they will give is that they are bought in Western Washington.

I fully support them selling supplies - but they have no business selling dogs. Even my 7 y/o daughter understands, " I don't think this is ok or right."

The staff is very nice and informative.  I felt at ease asking any question about our new family member.  They care about their animals and their future homes!

I do totally recommend this place but I really wish they had kept my puppies vaccines up to date. I was told she was all up to date but when I picked her up we discover she was over a month behind. I don’t really understand how or why that would have happened. I liked how they let you come play with the puppies and really get a chance to know the puppy. They were easy to work with and helpful with information. Just please keep up on the medical situation with new puppies!

Me and my little girl loving going to this place to see the puppies and kittens. Smells like urine when you walk in which doesn't seem to subside during the visit. They take your drivers license in exchange for the puppy you want to see, they are like the FBI about these pups. The young employee told me the pups usually are $1400 and up. Sorry, not giving up my rent to buy a damn dog but they're cute. You can view the pups from a big glass window and choose which one you would like to see. You get to take the puppy and sit down in a small gated area to spend time, which i don't believe has a limit. Most recent visit, the puppy we had seemed very scared and shy or maybe it was sick. It never seem to come around and get active. Not sure if that's because we didn't connect with it or bad breeding. Shrugs

I really enjoyed our visit to Fairwood Pet Center and the very friendly helpful staff.  Me and my little cutie pie will keep in touch with them.
