This is the most unprofessional office that has no respect for their patients I made an appointment for 2 different Saturdays with email confirmation and both times I drove 30 minutes to and from the office for no one to be there no phone call or email prior to to cancel Saturday are my only day off what an extreme inconvenience it is to be treated like this I will take me and my daughter to another more professional caring office that actually is considerate of their patients time

My son and myself made an appointment with this practice to establish care, because we need a PCP. I picked this place because my daughter goes to the pediatrician in the same building and we had a great experience, the staff was wonderful so I figured I would stay in the same building. When I made the appointment, I was told that it was just to establish care, and voice our health concerns with the doctor, and a physical will be scheduled a month later. So I didn't expect to pay a co-payment due to the fact that this was not a visit that rendered care. We were given a bunch of paper work to fill out our History and Physical and give information of our previous providers. My appoint was at 2pm and my son appointment was at 3pm. We both was called back at the same time where our weight was taken and a set of vitals was also taken. When the vitals were taken, not a full set, just BP and a pulse ox that displayed our heart rate and O2 sat. The equipment was not sanitized between the use of my son and I. That made me wonder if the equipment was sanitized between each individual patient. Both my son and I was placed in the same room, which meant this was actually going to be a combined visit and not an individual visit. The doctor was very delightful, and very kind. I felt that our visit lacked privacy, both my son and I wasn't able to speak with the doctor individually. What happen to patient confidentiality rights. Maybe they felt it was ok to combine the visits because we are mother and son. However, there are things I do not wish to discuss in my son presence and I am pretty sure my son would have like to voice concern he may of had without me being present. We were not given that option. I figured if I had to paid a co-payment for 2 separate visit, you would think we would be seen individually. I am 100% sure they will charge the insurance as 2 different visit when in fact it wasn't. I am still puzzled to why I was charged $50 co-payment for a visit just to establish care. The office was clean and beautiful, the doctor was very nice. The receptionist are rude and univiting. The check out receptionist reeked of cigarette smoke, and the smell was very offensive. The demeanor of the receptionist really lead me to the decision not to seek further care with this practice. It's unfortunate, because I felt that the doctor was very inviting and polite. However, you do not get to see the doctor first, the front staff is who you meet first and if they give off a bad vibe it sets the tone for the whole visit. There were other factors which I stated above, but that front desk staff isn't pleasant at all and it's unfortunate, her staff may cost her clients. They need to learn customer service skills, and know how to smile and greet people. Back to searching for a PCP :(
