They don't even deserve a star.... I bought shoes and wore them for an hour. But because I wore them, they won't return them... The assistant manager is the one who helped me. She treated me like a dog. So I informed the whole packed store they better like what they get because if you return them they will ask if you wore them. And if your honest and tell them yes they won't return them. Glad I bought shoes that hurt my feet. What a waste of money and gotta love being disrespected....

My wife went in with our two kids to get some shoes. She was there for over 30 minutes picking out shoes, chasing around kids, etc. Finally finds the pair she wanted, she goes to buy them, but the credit card was in my name and not hers (same last name, since we are married), the employee John immediately and intuitively asks if it was her husband's card, and she said yes, and right away, very un apologetically says "can't take the card it's not in your name", and said it's against store policy, with a smirk on his face. He was almost happy and eager, giddy even, to reject my wife's payment and send her home without the shoes to get a different credit card. My wife pleaded with him to accept the card, that she would have to get the kids in the car and couldn't come back until after they had a nap, she reasoned with him and showing she has the same last name, but he didn't care. It brought him so much joy to send my wife home empty handed, a tremendous amount of wasted time and trouble, and he was so happy about it. There was NO reason for him to not accept the card, especially since she was obviously well dressed, not sketchy or ghetto looking at all, with kids and has the same last name on the card. She explained how she has NEVER had her ID checked for a purchase and NEVER been told she couldn't make the purchase, ANYWHERE in Bend in the last 5 years of living here. I then called him while my wife was still at the store, and said I was her husband and could verify anything, and explaining how much trouble it was for my wife, but he didn't care. He practically laughed at me and certainly was mocking me in his sarcastic tone, I tried to reason with him and also asked what kind of person would do this, and then he proceeded to hang up the phone on me, repeatedly. I would call back and he would say some disrespectful words and hang up on me before I could even speak. This happened about 5 times, yes, really, an actual 'employee' rudely hanging up on you unrelentingly. I then spoke with the corporate office, who weren't really that helpful, and said he technically had the right to reject the card, he also had the right to accept it. As for his behavior, they were supposed to have the regional or store manager contact me, but they never did, even after I told them I was going to leave bad reviews (I also told this to John, but do you think he cared at all? he was probably trying to get fired for all I know, you know how the millennial youths of today are ;). My wife never actually got those shoes, and later found the exact same pair online for 30 bucks cheaper! Avoid Famous Footwear at ALL COSTS, they care NOTHING for their customers! NOTHING!! (note to famous footwear, if you fire John and comment here that you did so, I will consider removing or updating this review)
