I love Famous Footwear for all their Bargains and coupons and what not, but since they moved thus store don't seem to operate like it use to. I called one day and asked if they could search for a specific tennis shoe and the lady told me she couldn't because there was not enough people there for her to be able to search or her co-worker... But I was right up the street when I made the phone call and when I got to the store both ladies were at the register running their mouth and talking. Go figure!

I visited Famous Footwear because my brother was starting basic training for the Air force and he needed black sneakers. The employees were so helpful and made sure he got a pair of high quality sneakers. One of the employees realized that he will soon be apart of the Air Force and even gave him a discount. They have such a plethora of shoes for amazing prices.

Do  not shop at the South Euclid store or at any Famous Footwear anywhere. At the South Euclid, Ohio retail store, the clerk ran a charge for two pairs of shoes totaling $113.39. She said the transaction didn't go through, and refused to give us the shoes. When the charge posted to our checking account the next day, I went in to show them... and they didn't even bother looking at it They referred me to the 800 number for their  "customer care" department. After ten minutes trying to get a refund, they referred me to their "credit & claims" department. After a half an hour on the phone with another lady, they said they could not find the transaction anywhere,  and that I'd need to take it up with my bank. At the conclusion of the call, they asked: "Is anything else we can do to be of service?" So I disputed the charge with my bank, and ran a charge-back. I will never set foot again in a Famous Footwear anywhere.

This is the best place to get shoes if you wanna "Do it yourself." Everything in stock is out on the floor for you to try on. They have GREAT sales/prices!

Sadly didnt have anything for my preteen girls.  Seems to be a regular occurrence.  Customer service not great.
