Purchased a new trailer from this dealer yesterday and I can say that these folks are not the best at customer service or fully disclosing the charges. The first thing is don't use a credit card, they will add a 3% fee on top of your total. I own a business and we add those fees into our service price, not on top of our prices. I agreed to the fee simply because I did not have my check book with me and they were closing in 20 minutes. The worst thing that happened is they added a $50 document fee without disclosing this fee to me. They clumped this fee into the License and Tax total without properly breaking it down what you are paying for. They do have a right to charge a document fee, but this has to be disclosed to the consumer on the purchase agreement as a separate line item than state fees. This was not done and I did not notice it until my spouse questioned the high state transfer fees. When I called Ferguson to find out why this was done I was transferred to a Sue Ferguson. She was very rude and stated that $50 is not a big deal and that they will refund it to me and then hung up. First off disclose any fees and charges that you are adding to the total to the consumer properly and secondly treat your customers with respect. I will not advise anyone to buy from this company, and if they do make sure to ask the questions and get it in proper writing.

I bought my first trailer from Ferguson in August of 2012. It cost us $2,999. It was a Carry-On Trailer. This is a cheaper built trailer, but was bigger than the better brand trailer that was around the same price. I was worried about the cheaper built trailer, but the sales man said.....wait for it.....he said..."The trailer has a 10 year warranty." Did I get anything in writing on the warranty, nope:( However, I was made to believe the entire trailer was covered against defects. I installed shelving in my trailer and use it to store all my tools to bring on a job site. Recently, the rock/gravel guard peeled off on its own. How does a guard peel off on its own? Defect! I called to get it fixed and was told that it was not covered on the warranty. A defect...not covered on a warranty...hmmmm. My advise to you all, please do not follow in my foot steps. Ask for a copy of the warranty and what it covers before buying a trailer from them. I plan on asking for the warranty and I will re-post their answer. To be fair, the person at Ferguson informed me that he would work with me on price to get the guard fixed. That is not entirely what I want to happen, but it is better than them shutting the door in my face. That is why I gave them a 3 star.

Bought a pj dump trailer back in 08. Wasn't impressed with their service, but their driver in the older black Dodge duelly needs to go back to drivers ed. Assume he works at the location across from Cycle City on South side of Rochester.
