I've brought my trucks to the Montgomery location Firestone for several years now. Danny and his team are thorough, professional, and consistent. I know when I take my truck to Firestone I am not only going to be provided an accurate quote of the work to be completed, I'm also going to hear a full explanation of why it needs to be done, and repair items are prioritized based on my budget at the time.

Terrible place and terrible to do business with. Very rude and I do not trust this place at all. You ask them to do one thing (like fixing a spare tire) and they tell you they find many things wrong and it is going to cost hundreds of dollars. AND if you know anything about cars, you would know it is not worth it. After we paid them for the work, they unfortunately already did, which was not cheap. Went home and fixed the car issue with my boyfriend. The labor took less than an hour and the part cost under 50. Don't kid yourself. They try to scare you and tell you your car is inoperable and that if they see you leaving in it, they will call the police. There are better ways to tell someone it is dangerous to drive and it is not allowed, instead of a plain threat. Anyway, we just told them WE will figure it out and we didn't need their services any longer. And they continue going on and on that we could not drive the car, they cannot hold the car hostage so they had to give us the keys back. After everything, Danny decides that he will pay for the tow back to our place. The whole thing is such an eyeroll and could have been handled much better. Especially since the whole thing was made a scene of and other people can hear our business and how they are being overly dramatic. So unprofessional. Disappointing. It was a bad experience. I hated the whole thing. Never going back. It was not even our first choice, we only went because it was the closest to where we were having trouble. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Not my story, but a lady that went there. She was crying telling me this story. 2004 Honda Civic. Very reliable car. Check engine light came on. Oxygen sensor. They said its a good practice to replace both, since it has 2. Upstream and downstream sensors. Replacing both is total BS. Autozone had 1 for $45ish, 2nd was $120ish. These guys quoted $250ish for 1, and like $300 for other. Total with labor which takes usually 1hr to replace both, $750... this is called HUNGRY FOR MONEY. Especially from ppl that have no clue whats going on. Avoid this place.....

Unfortunately spent upward of $1800 on parts and labor and got an entire power steering pump and rack and pinion replaced. There was a defect on the part they issued me and upon going to the location multiple times was informed its a cap and then its just running low on fluid etc. Then they replace the system a second time and once leaving now they overfilled! The power steering fluid which could cause damage to the belt or power steering pump. Seems more like a scam to me then actual customer service. Me and my family through the years relied on Firestone and unfortunately this has changed. So for anyone out there i do advise you get your car serviced else where for example Dox automotive in Albuquerque. The manager at the location was very helpful but unfortunately lacked leadership for his team to get the job done.
