Founded in 1995, First Bank & Trust sought to fill a community and commercial bank void in a Chicagoland banking market plagued by big banks and mergers. Now, over 20 year later, FB&T continues to be the premier community-minded commercial bank in the Chicago area.

As a locally-owned and operated bank, FB&T is focused on building and preserving relationships with middle-market businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals throughout the Chicago area and its suburbs. Our community roots, commercial capabilities and financial strength continue to foster our growth.
