My family and I came for dinner on a Tuesday night and were made to feel welcome by Sylvia, our server. We ordered and our food came out within 10-12 minutes. My daughter ordered a grilled cheese, my wife spaghetti and meatballs, and I ordered a cheeseburger wrap. All food was tasty and homemade, nothing tasted like or resembled canned or re-hydrated products. Everything seemed to be from scratch. It was delicious and the experience was wonderful. The price was affordable, too. The most significant of all, however, was the Christian charity expressed by our waitress. She not only wished God's blessing on my family but wrote a personal reminder on our check that reads as follows: "Smile: To God you are very important. He created you beautifully in his likeness. He loves you. It was my pleasure to serve you." This is so significant to me. If more of us expressed the basic teachings of Jesus Christ in this world, we would fill it with such love and care for others that we truly would be living in heaven on earth. Weather you are a Christian or not, love is the universal language of humanity, and I so appreciate Sylvia's witness to charity. This is a restaurant I highly recommend, not only for its deliciously authentic food, but for its warmth and care.

Wow....I waited in line in the big tourist trap buffets. Over an hour wait I was told - I didn't have the time, so I gave Fisher's restaurant a try. PLEASE - don't be fooled by the meager setting and decor. If you are here to eat and are hungry, the food is COMFORTING, DELICIOUS, RIB-STICKING BLISS. Stick to the buffet, as the menu appetizers cost just as much as the buffet. The buffet doesnt have huge choice, but nearly everything is quality. The soup was a savory tomato chili with white bean, the buffet had wonderful chicken, meet loaf, mash, ham balls, and the best earthy beets I have ever tasted. Very simple, but all the food was made carefully with TLC. The chicken fell off the bone tender. A salad with just the right toppings including chunk BACON. Finally, a chocolate-vanilla parfait with gram cracker pre-prepared in glass ready to savor - icing texture yet not over-powering sweet. ALL for 10 bucks. My giant wooden booth was also neat and surprisingly comfy. Skip the 15-20 dollar buffet. This place means business. Simple hall dining taken to the moon. SEE Pics.

Gods presence was obvious and awesome when I walked in! I give it two thumbs up. It's also roomy and the servers are great. I will be back many times over.
