Great family place. Good food options, and kids options for food. Good place to sit down for some food. It has a great history, and tourists, Don't be intimidated. It is in the middle of Amish land, and with it being near to Lancaster, is a great place for tourists. I have been going here all my life, and we are great with people checking out the Amish culture around here. It is weird and sometimes annoying being stuck Behind a box with some horses tied to it, but everyone is thrilled to have you. Great place, 100/10

I cannot say enough words about this restaurant....  to say that 6 months later I am still telling people about it should say everything...  we considered driving over an hour out of our way just to go here again on our return trip home...  we had breakfast there, but I can only imagine the dinner buffet to be equally amazing....  and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable of the area as well....  if you are anywhere in the vicinity of this restaurant...  please trust me and try it....

For someone who grew up on Pennsylvania Dutch Cuisine, this restaurant is not going to be as thrilling as it would be for those who are not used to it. 

We went at a very busy time on Saturday night when there was a tour bus there .  We feared the worst,  but were surprised to hear that we only had a 10 minute wait .  I think it was more like 15,  but still quite amazing ! The smorgasbord is ample - there is a salad bar, man course, and dessert bars. The chicken salad and stewed tomatoes were too sweet for our taste but I recognize that people like the taste of sweet.

 The only thing I would tell people to be prepared for is to bring their own toilet paper or wet wipes. The toilet paper here is one of those huge rolls that shreds into little pieces when you try to get some some off it.  I told the woman who checked us out to tell management about that complaint.

Good prices good food I would not hesitate to eat here again.

I eat breakfast and lunch there frequently. I buy from the menu but they do have an ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET. I just don't eat enough for that. Food is delicious and they also have a kid friendly menu

This place has great food fresh and well seasoned. The Pepper Cabbage was one of the best slaws I have ever tasted. My wife had the Baked Ham dinner and it had a great pineapple sauce that is wonderful, I had a Chicken Pie and have to say it was perfectly done the crust was flaky and light and the filling was the best I've had sense my mom died, it was a trip home in my mouth! Thanks Bird in Hand.
