I visited Five Star Emergency Room for treatment of a dog bite I received during my evening walk.  I didn't think I needed an ER, but after 8pm there are few options for a doctor appointment or Urgent Care and the 24 hour nurse at my insurance company said it should be treated immediately.  The staff was very professional and attentive and took time to answer my questions. I was in and out in an hour. It was by far the best experience I have had at any emergency room.

Just to let everyone  know, this is not a regular ER. This company will charge you a facility charge AND and physician charge. Therefore, physician or doctors are contracted out at this ER location. So you will have two separate bills. One for the ER and one for the physician/Dr. They do not tell you this upfront, so be prepared. So this may effect your insurance claim, since you are going to get two bills. Since the MD does not work for the Five Star ER, you will get a huge bill. My bill for just and evaluation in which the MD stood at the door and did not even touch me was 1010.00. I am in the medical field and I know how about this kind of stuff. So please be aware of what you are getting into. Drive a little further away for better service.

My experience was truly 5 Star. Dr. Zimmerman handled my issue with ease.  Mr. Royce, RN was very attentive to my needs. I especially enjoyed his story-telling while waiting for my extremely high blood pressure to stabilize. He was very friendly as well as the entire staff.

My 2yo daughter fell on concrete & hurt her arm. We tried to wait it out at home but she continued to cry & say "it hurts". It was 9pm at night so we came to Five Star ER-Pf. Dr. Zimmerman & ALL staff were great! In and out fast, nice clean facility, no wait!

AVOID UNLESS YOU ARE LITERALLY DYING.  Not pretty sure you are dying.  Be sure first.  And this is coming from someone with what has been very good insurance through my employer.  I had my neck lock up on me and I needed a muscle relaxant prescription.  Coming here was a huge mistake.  Yes everyone was friendly enough and they were fast...in my situation, a little too fast.  I thought, I guess out of my own ignorance, that this was more of a walk-in/Medspring type place.  IT IS NOT.  No matter what you need done, they will charge an emergency fee.  Unfortunately, they ushered me back to the room before I could get to the 5th page or so in the paperwork that says every visit, no matter what is needed, will be accessed an emergency fee.  I'm sure it is placed many pages back for a reason.  I talked to the Dr for maybe 2-3 minutes and told them I need muscle relaxant and pain pill prescriptions.  No pain shot or anything was given to me while there.  So basically zero cost on their end.  My side, I knew it was going to be bad when the receptionist came into the room and asked me would I prefer to split payments.  Total cost for me (I don't even know what my insurance picked up)....$850.  I am apparently in the wrong profession.  THIS PLACE IS STRAIGHT UP TRAIN ROBBERY.
