My loved one had a surgery scheduled here on February 20, 2018. We went up to the second floor and the staff at the front desk where we had to check in for surgery were extremely unprofessional, telling sexual jokes in front of patients. I honestly don't need to know how "easy" you are or how your wife is still in pain from her surgery and you're mad you can't "get any." These types of jokes are uncalled for in a professional field and I'm disgusted this is allowed in front of people who are concerned for their significant others or family members who are going in for surgery! Burnita in Registration/financial services was very rude and would not listen when we tried to tell her the hospital portion of the charges were also fully covered by our insurance. She told us they would not proceed with the surgery unless we paid half of what they were wrongfully estimating. She refused to call the insurance to verify what their system was showing stating that her computer "showed everything correct." And that they "all bill different, each part of the hospital bills different and that there's no way for you to tell what it will be". Now we have overpaid and have to wait for a check to come back all because of this rude and stubborn woman. After surgery, my loved one told me he was given pain medicine through IV but he noticed that the anesthesiologist did not give him everything that he drew into the needle and he wasn't able to see if the needle was thrown into the sharps container. I want to stay positive and hope they guy didn't pocket the rest but at this point I'd say I wouldn't be surprised if he did. The nurse that was in charge of the room my loved one was in was very nice. She did give very detailed instructions on what he was not supposed to do after surgery, I wish I remembered her name...She's the only reason I'm giving two stars! She informed us that he was to keep the bandages and gauze clean however, we did not receive any changes of gauze, medical tape, nothing but a folder full of papers.

Just had our first child there. Nursing staff/doctors/rooms were great. Everything was great. Up until Vera called my wife the day after being discharged from a C Section telling her she had five days to come up with payment or else. Then trying to obtain financial information over the phone like a cheap creditor and insulting her. Sounds a lot like extortion, especially when she tries persuading her with "zero interest" payments. The hospital is not a financial institution and in the business of loans. Why would there be interest in the first place? We have health insurance, good credit, and planned for our child. THEN, I try to call and have it straightened out, and I can't get through to her. Her number rings without ever going to voicemail.

I took my husband to ER this morning at 6:30, they were fast to get him in a room. He has had cough, sneezing etc for 3 to 4 days but no fever but chest was tight, EKG started the day, showed nothing, many more test, blood, urine, ex ray, cat scan, you name it, he had it. did not even get a cup of water until he asked for some after 1:00. About 2:00 nurse came in introduced herself , guess it must have been shift change, and said they were waiting on test results. Dr. came in about 2:30 and ask if he had gone to have a cat scan, needless to say, me being the patient person I am, after 6 hours in the ER I lost it. Did not take long for cat scan after the fit I pitched and he was discharged. They gave him 3 prescriptions , antibiotic, steroid, and an inhaler . Hopefully this will do the trick, as I will never go back to that hospital again, if he does it will be by ambulance or his own transportation.

I was admitted to this facility on December 27, 2017. i was in horrendous pain. The only nurse that actually cared and helped me with pain control was Sarah. i shared my concerns with the nurse manager after i was discharged. i also received a phone call from Leslie in Risk Management and had a very pleasant conversation with her and Matt regarding my stay. i received a letter of apology that accomodatons could and should have been better. The staff involved were addressed and i feel a lot better that these people that receive paychecks to take good care of patients were addressed. i appreciated the letter in the mail from Leslie. i accept your apology and would give your hospital another opportunity to make accomodatons differently. thank you for the letter of apology which meant a lot to me. for this i am giving you a five star rating as we are all human and do make mistakes. thank you.

Referred to ER by urgent care as was having numbness and tingling in hand, arm and face on left side. Doctor ordered lab work, EKG and CT scans which were done in a timely manner. Waited in a room for 6 hours before doctor came in and said I have a pinched nerve and need to see a neurosurgeon. Long story short neurosurgeon said I had a stroke not pinched nerve which MRI confirmed. Neurosurgeon said ER doctors are idiots. Five months later still have numbness which may be permanent due to fact that I was not treated for stroke due to misdiagnoses.
