There are many things wrong with this office. It’s over-saturated with patients so the level of care and attention is third world, at its best. No matter how skilled a doctor may be in surgery and with other procedures, it amounts to nothing when they’re behind a wall of automated phone mazes, miserable receptionists (once they finally pick up the phone),office visit wait times of over 90 mins, a revolving door of medical assistants, overworked surgical coordinators, and doctors that have bedside manners similar to Count Dracula. Their communication is atrocious; whether it’s talking with a doctor in the room, or getting someone to call you back. It took them 33 days to get me an answer for one of my questions. It should’ve taken 24 hours. I’ve never experienced such a dismal experience with a medical practice in my life and they wasted months of my time while simultaneously made me feel like I was wasting their time with my medical issue. I felt like nothing more than a number to everyone involved with this practice and I hope this doesn’t become the norm for the rest of this area.

I was able to get an appointment for my son within a week of calling. The facility was beautiful. The staff was all very friendly and efficient. The appointment happened on time, no long wait. Dr. Domby was knowledgeable and took his time with us and explaining the x-rays, results and course of action.

Glad I listened to Dr. Guttentag!! After my primary care physican told me I needed surgery for what he thought was a "bone spur" with built up cartilage in my ankle that wouldn't allow me to play sports, I thought I might need a second opinion. I was referred to Dr. Guttentag at Florida Medical Clinic from a friend. My initial consultation went well. After the x-ray Dr. Guttentag asked me to walk around the room. He noticed how pronated my walk was and recommended to do physical therapy and get orthotics before thinking of surgery. Glad I listened to him. The "bone spur" turned out to be an inflamed tendon that was swollen from playing sports and being pronated. I trusted Dr. Guttentag from his experience with the Tampa Bay Lighting so I knew he was familiar with sports injuries. I highly recommend Dr. Guttentag and the Florida Medical Clinic.
