I would give Dr. Allen and the phlebotomists 5 stars because they are all great, but my 1 star review is for Florida Wellness Medical Group (all locations). I'm not sure why I continue to go here after 2 years because every time I visit, something goes wrong. Honestly I love Dr. Allen, but everyone else that works there (at every location) can't get their SH** together. I've been called 2 weeks after blood/urine tests to be told that they didn't have enough urine and I had to go back to provide more. 2 weeks later! This is AFTER I had already been called to tell me that everything was negative. So were my results negative or did one test not even complete because they didn't have enough urine?! NO ONE IS EVER ON THE SAME PAGE! Also if I need an Rx refill to be sent to the pharmacy, it takes days, and they NEVER call me back to let me know that they called the pharmacy or completed anything I asked them to do. A simple follow up call would be nice instead of leaving me in the dark wondering, especially since I can never reach the person who handles this when I call in. I reach voicemail every time. I visit or call maybe 5 times a year max, and I'm never sick so I don't ask for much. I called and scheduled an appointment 7 days in advance, and when I show up they said I wasn't on the calendar to have an appointment. I work 9-5 and am booked solid in meetings all day. I blocked off my work calendar 2 hours that morning to have this appointment, and they tried to tell me that they couldn't take me. I had the call log for the phone call made to FL Wellness Medical Group when I scheduled the appointment a week before. Now I have to call 1-2 days before my appts just to make sure it was properly booked. I shouldn't have to do this. Most recently, I received a bill for blood work from Quest Diagnostics for almost $1,800.00 because they entered a completely incorrect member ID. I've been coming here for 2 years. How do you get this so wrong? I called the office on Monday, left a voicemail asking for a call back to get this sorted out because the bill was due in 4 days. It's Wednesday and I still have not received a call back, so I called again and neither the manager nor the person I left a voicemail for on Monday were available. So I called Quest directly to provide my correct information, and they resubmitted the claims. This is literally the worst doctors office I've ever been to. Time to find a new practice.

After having multiple difficulties in the past about getting to speak with an MA, I am happy to report these issues have been resolved! Today I called the South Tampa office to leave a message for Dr Allen. To my happy surprise, Jen (the MA) answered the phone on the second ring. She was efficient, helpful, and kind! Jen was as helpful as Dr Allen is! Now I have the best primary care physician as well as the best Med Assistant! Thank you FL Wellness for listening to and acting upon my concerns!!

Dr. Abrahams and his staff are amazing. They will always help you feel better, get better, and answer any questions. They actually care about their patients and you never feel in the way or just a number, like other places I've been. They are just all around outstanding! I highly recommend him and his team. Pain sucks just as much as a non-caring office, which they are far from. They take the time to get to know you. They are seriously the best!

I've had a good experience every time I've been here. Even when I had a problem with my insurance, they were patient with me.

Love Dr. Allen! So fast, organized, and I never wait more than 5 minutes past my appointment time. LOVE THIS PLACE.
