I can't say enough good things about these guys! My wife and I are leaving to drive to Patagonia next month, and Fort Collins 4x4 has been an invaluable resource in helping us prepare for this epic drive.

Last year I walked into Fort Collins 4x4 knowing essentially nothing about vehicle maintenance and repair. Dustin, Ernie, Ross, really the whole crew  over there, have helped me learn how to do everything from changing my oil, to replacing my CV axle, to replacing my entire suspension. They have spent hours walking me though repairs on the phone and in person. I have had them do several repairs that were beyond my ability, and I have been 100% happy with the results, and their attention to detail.

The owner, Ross, is an absolute legend and a truly good person. Last month he met me at Odell and spent over an hour with me going over final trip preparation plans. He even insisted that I bring in the vehicle for a final walkthrough before we take off, free of charge. Are you kidding? If you go anywhere besides Fort Collins 4x4, you are blowing it!

I mistakenly walked into this place when I was trying to go to another shop that had already quoted me a fair price over the phone to remove a stripped nut. Well although I had the wrong place, these guys offered to remove it for me no problem. It only took a few minutes and they refused to take my money after because it was such a minor job. Super friendly and after talking with them I noticed they really know their stuff. I will he coming here any time I need professional help in the future!

I live near Walden, CO and was coming down to Ft Collins for a few appointments. As I was coming down the canyon, I was hearing a grinding noise as I turned left. Not knowing what it was coming from or the severity of it, I decided to stop and have it checked before continuing .I am familiar with Ft Collins 4x4 from friends, so I decided to stop there and see if they could help. So grateful that I did! The right fork into the differential had broken and continuing to drive it could of been costly. The folks at Ft Collins 4x4 did an awesome job! They showed me where on the axil it was damaged, loaned me a vehicle so I could continue with my appointments, and allowed me to take the loaner back to Walden so I didn't have to stay in Ftc. Everyone there cared about me and my safety first. And, they didn't mind that I had my lab Willy with me. I highly recommend these guys on just their customer service alone. I already know when I pick my suburban up on Tues it's going to run like a charm. So, thank you guys! Willy and I really appreciate it.

We always get excellent service and reasonable prices at Fort Collins 4x4. I trust them explicitly with our vehicles and feel confident with their assessments. When I thought I had a major problem with one of our cars last week they assured me that it was really something quite minor and that the cost would be way less than anticipated! What mechanic does that?!
