You can't beat the selection if you need something same day and can't wait for Amazon. Unfortunately their customer service is severely lacking. I ordered a 24" monitor online and a 22" monitor was delivered. I tried taking it to the store in Irving, close to my workplace, but they said, bluntly, there was nothing they could do and I'd have to talk to the Arlington store. I guess if you have something delivered, all of a sudden the stores are all independent from each other. I was on hold with the Arlington store for 30 minutes before I finally hung up and emailed the manager. To his credit, I received a response back in a few hours saying just to bring the monitor to the store and they'd take care of it. I went in today to return the monitor. Another guest and I waited for about ten minutes before anyone came to the customer service counter. I think a few of the employees who walked by us tried calling someone over, but it didn't do much. After two associates finally showed up, I explained the situation. They said they'd have to go check on something, and one left while the other took care of customers in line behind me. After the line was empty, the second associate went back to an office. After about ten minutes of waiting, they came out and walked by me when I asked what was going on. They said that Loss Prevention was going to need them to count the inventory. At this point, I'd been here for 30 minutes, spent 30 minutes on the phone and spent a lunch hour trying to return this monitor. I mentioned that I had already emailed the manager and he said to bring the monitor in and it would be taken care of. After the second associate walked somewhere and then came back, he said he'd talk to the manager and they'd return it. After 2 hours of my time, I finally have everything taken care of. I understand mistakes happen. However the customer service at Fry's is so poor I can't recommend this place to anyone. Because of their mistake, I had to jump through hoops to get my money back.

Employees are pleasant. They have a large variety of stuff. My only issue is their pricing and stocking. I bought two items that were sitting above a price sticker for $9.99. I got to the front and the items rang up $14.99. I brought it to the cashiers attention, she checked but said they were $14.99. I think they should have honored the lower price since the majority of the item was located above the $9.99 sticker.

Whenever I visit this store, the employees walk by you without speaking our asking if you need assistance. When I did ask for something, the employees appeared to be rushing to give you a quick answer and then turn their back to do something else. One employee pointed his finger across my face to show me where the car chargers were! The store in Plano is the best to me for customer service.

I was looking for 1 electronic item to purchase and they couldn't even acknowledge us. I had to go do a scavenger hunt just to find an associate to help us. He wasn't zoned in that department so he was useless to what I needed help with. Then after I we waited for about 15 minutes we were finally acknowleged. Then he went to check to see if they had the item and apparently the other guy was supposed to tell us because he was told over the headset. Then he came back from checking and acted as if he didn't know who we were and was like " oh I said it over the headset, I thought he heard me. All we got is blah blah, sorry". This was my first and my last Fry's horrible experience. Also if I had the option to give 0 stars I WOULD!!!

Way better than Radio Shack ever was. It's like a Radio Shack, best buy and circuit city combined. Edited to add- I have made several trips since, spending about an hour each trip, not once has any employee ask me anything. No greeting, no "may i help you find something" not one word. I covered the entire store, not a peep from anyone. Always a 10-20 minute wait to check out and each time 2-3 cashiers working another 4-5 employees standing behind the cashiers talking. The cashier was the first contact from any store employee. The guy that checks items at the exit was nice. So if you're going to Fry's allow time to find what you need and don't expect any help.
