Story

Furniture By Sleep Quarters was started in 1988 by Harvey and Gaye Mitschke. As owners of the company for the past 25 years they have been involved with many customers wanting to find quality home furnishings at a price they can afford.

Harvey Mitschke comes from a furniture and mattress background which was started in 1974 when working for a major department store in Dallas, Texas. When Harvey and Gaye started in 1988 the company was named Sleep Quarters which at the time the stores merchandise consisted of mattresses, daybeds, futons, and headboards. After a few years in business the furniture division became part of the merchandise being offered to the customer which included all rooms in the home. When furniture became part of the selection the Sleep Quarters name became Furniture By Sleep Quarters.

Our goal has always been to provide quality merchandise with a stylish look that you can afford. We have always made customer service a priority in our business and look forward to assisting you with your home furnishings questions.
