Would of loved to of rated this hotel a 4 but it did not met my expectations. I loved that it was affordable with a free breakfast (wonderful selection definitely a 5 and everything seemed to be homemade and they changed the selections every day. Lots of fruit selection.) They also had a happy hour from 5-7 with free wine and beer. This included what they called appetizers which they changed up every evening. We didn't even have to go out for dinner for 3 of our nights.
They have a water station which they change up every day with a different sort of fruit. I enjoyed that.
The reason I rated this place a 3 is that I asked for an upper floor and they didn't deliver. We were given room 150 which was on the ground level right by the door that leads to the pool and right by the vending and ice machine and a room that had no sign stating what it was. ( I had read other reviews that people We not given their requests but thought nothing of it). We were awoken the first night at 2am from what sounded like someone getting cans of pop from the vending machine, not 2 but at least 6 big bangs. Every morning at 6am we heard sounds from the unnamed room. We asked to change rooms but was told they were full.
The woman who checked us in (not sure of her name as she didn't wear a name tag) was not the friendliest and she assured me we wouldn't hear the ice and vending machine.
We also could not open our drapes as there was people coming by.
The bed was super comfy and the rooms have kitchens so that's a nice bonus.
We also found the pool dirty. A bottle cap was on the bottom for 3 days before it disappeared, dirt on the bottom. The lounges need to be replaced looking kind of worn. The picture I posted is of the pool on our last morning and it looks clean of the top but you can't see the bottom.
At this moment we would not return to this hotel unless we had assurance of an upper floor

Breakfast and dinner are free. Kids play in the grass courtyard while you eat. Great pool. Spa within walking distance, very plush amenities and great customer service! Kids get free teddy bear in the room. Very friendly place, I wish they had Gainey suites in every city we visited.

Was walking by the front desk last Thursday night. And 1 gentlemen was upset at the overnight worker. He was screaming at him the worker was wearing glasses. The worker was not taking it personal.The worker was not getting upset. He was trying to explain why he was being walked to another hotel. It was our 1st time there and it won't be our last. After the gentlemen left. I went up to him and said great job. You handled it very professional. Loved the hotel. Free cookies. Front desk staff was fantastic.

Our stay was fantastic. We visited the Gainey Suites Hotel while vacationing in Arizona. We were upgraded upon check in from a one bedroom to a two bedroom suite. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a full kitchen. The beds were really comfortable. We even had a balcony off one of the bedrooms with two seats and a table. The bathrooms (one in each bedroom) were clean and nice. My daughter loved the two bears that were left for her and we took advantage of the cookies at the front desk as well as the nice full breakfast they offer. They also offer evening drinks and snacks/hors d'oeuvres, but we didn't get a chance to sample those. Nice pool and hot tub. Parking is great. One minor thing we were annoyed by is that, while the kitchen is fully stocked, they only give you a single serve coffee maker. For a family who enjoys several cups of coffee a day, this was a bit annoying. Maybe both the single serve and a full pot could be offered?

Beautiful rooms, great location. I was only there for 1 night but would definitely come back. Great evening drinks/apps and breakfast.
