Heat is very hard to control. Cooler for hours, than went into overdrive at night. Maybe just needs new baseboards. Otherwise a wonderful experience in camper cabin. Beautiful trails to hike. Will return.

Great place nice cabins but bring your own cleaning supplies because it seems no one cleans up after they leave so bring your bleach and floor cleaner maybe Lysol because it kills germs. So it's clean enough for you to enjoy your stay then clean after you leave so the next people can enjoy their stay

fun and hike with beautiful views. There were some step, but do-able hills. We hike a lot of the Minnesota State Parks and really enjoyed this one!

Good amount of elevation change for a park near the prairie. The hiking was pretty, the trails are well kept, and the campground seemed quiet. Nice out of the way park when you're looking to get away from people.

The reason for the 2 stars is because this place is INFESTED with mosquitoes! They are everywhere even during the day, there are many many mosquitos. If you don't like being bitten when you are making your noon meal by the fire or when you go on an early afternoon hike on the trail be warned! I know this is part of camping but the number here is the largest I've ever seen at a camp. It's like one of the plagues of Egypt right now here! Aside from that, this is one of the nicest state parks in Minnesota! It's too bad there is zero bug control here! Flys and bees everywhere as well.
