Glen Park Animal Hospital, Veterinarian in Gary, IN, is proud to serve the Northwest Indiana area for everything pet related. Dr. Marcus Larson, has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 20 years and our staff is happy to help you with your pet needs.

We aim to provide our patients with an inviting veterinary experience. We build bonds with your animal that will allow them to build trust in our veterinarians and keep them coming back each year!

I have been to this Animal Clinic two times and both times were pretty pitiful. 
The first time was to turn in my resume due to them hiring online; I wanted to familiarize myself with the place and I waited 15 minutes before searching the place for signs of life. 
I was greeted with a very brash "I'll be out in a minute," from some lady who after 10 mpre minutes never introduced herself even after she took my resume - without so much as a "Can I help you," or "Have a nice day."
Today was the worst though. Today I came in for an interview and was told "You don't have one" have with such venom I didn't know how to respond, so I just sat there. Then, the woman "Stephanie" dismissed me with a LITERAL flicking of her hand! I was so surprised at how mean, rude, and unprofessional she was that I almost waited in my car for her manager to get back from lunch. Who hires these people?!
-NEVER- would I reccomend someone to go here. NO CLASS and NO KINDNESS.

They really cared about my fur baby. They took us in an emergency situation when our regular vet who was open wouldn’t see her. We loved them so much we switched. The vet got down on the floor to make friends with our dog before he examined her. He is the only vet Patzy our baby has come up to like he was her pal. Everyone there cares about your animal and goes out of their way to help.

I took my husky there to have surgery on his ear 
He had a hematoma. I caught it early and it didnt get too bad, should have been an easy fix. The henatoma is gone but they didnt do the stitches properly so now his ear doesnt stand up. Its folded down like a beagle's ear. This is truly upsetting.  No way to fix it without putting him though another surgery.
