This place is fantastic! Anyone who says the food is not fresh should sit at the bar and watch these guys work their tails off! It’s my favorite seat in the house. My wife who has been to Italy says it’s just as good as the real deal. The chef takes great pride in his product and it shows!

Best Italian food in Durham. Family style. Menu is laid out like it would be in Rome. Pasta is not drowning in sauce like most places. Great for dates.

The space is nice. The service varies from time to time. The first time I went it was great. Last night we waited 10 minutes after we sat down before the server came to us for the first time I asked to substitute squash for some other veggie in my pasta and was told "it's already made." That's pretty disappointing. I'd hope to have everything freshly made when I go to a small restaurant like this. In general, the food isn't that tasty. There's just nothing special about it, contrary to what you'd expect from a small "authentic" Italian place.

Every dish is well thought out and carefully executed. Prices are very reasonable.
