Story

Master Esthetician Lauren Rachel Wills has worked in the spa industry for 18 years. She began her career at Spa Csaba in Kirkland before opening Golden Bough Day Spa in September 1999. Her passion is combining state-of-the art technical equipment with organic and naturally-based products in her skincare treatments.

Rachel is also an energy worker using several modalities including Reiki, crystals, gemstones and flower remedies. Additionally, she is a certified Angel Card Reader. She feels strongly that energy work is essential on the path of beauty and wellness. Her goal with each client is to rejuvenate and repair the skin from the outside while bringing healing, stress relief and an overall sense of well-being.

I was gifted a facial and massage for my birthday. It took a while to schedule my massage because of my availability, but when I received it , it was worth the wait! Karly is amazing and makes you feel comfortable. She focuses on the areas that are bothering you the most, mine is the shoulders lol. I liked her so much I went back for a second massage 2 weeks later. Rachel did my facial and it was an extremely relaxing experience. I was a little skeptical at first because I break out easy and had only had one facial done a long time ago and disliked it. Think of it as a massage to the face with rose water and other yummy organic skin treatments. Loved the hand massage too :) Anytime I need pampering or need to release some stress, I will be seeing these ladies! Highly Recommend.

Rachel is a great esthetician. She always has the latest and greatest equipment to make my skin glow with health. Cheryl Sherrow the massage therapist is excellent. I have gone to many different places for massage and am thrilled to find someone who has helped me so much. She is very caring and helpful. It is all done in a very comfortable, beautiful and pleasant atmosphere. Going to Golden Bough is the best thing I have ever done for myself!!

Came in with a gift certificate. Spa treatments are not usually my kind of thing, but I do struggle with my skin. My skin is acne prone, and usually has a few breakouts. I normally wouldn't get a facial because I am embarrassed to have someone look at my skin so close up! Rachel made me feel totally at ease. She is kind and totally not judgmental. My skin felt great after my facial, and I went home with a few products. The akta brand alpha hydroxy lotion is awesome because it makes my skin soft, helps smooth wrinkles, and prevents acne! Rachel is a wealth of skincare knowledge, and really helped me create a plan to improve my skin.

It took me a while to actually get myself to write this review because, it took me 2 weeks to actually get my foot into the door, & i really want to keep this my very own secret, because my experience was so amazing, but w something this good i must share w the world...I went in for a facial from Rachael, and A pedi from Jenny, and I must say I left very impressed!! The infrared tables I got to lay on while getting my facial was amazing, heating me from the inside out, def helped my soar muscles, she used the latest state of the art equipment, and all natural products & even gave me some creams to try at home. After my facial i stepped into the hands of the amazing Jenny, she was so knowledgable about all the pressure point in my feet, learned a lot on the direct correlation between my feet & all  organs in my body, she even let me pick the lotions & soap scent used on my feet, everything was very very clean & sanitized, and she payed great attention to detail, my toes came out super fun and festive! Thank you so much ladies & I can't wait to return!!!
