Story

What an amazing experience. First off, the exterior of the building is a piece of art all on its own, jutting out, as if being launched into the Mississippi. Parking was a breeze - a pay ramp connected to the museum, so don't allow the terror of parking stop you from visiting. Also, Google maps gave us perfect directions, bypassing all of UMN. The exhibits were fun, informative, breathtaking, educational and fascinating. They even had a dragster! The gift shop was a fun place to find hidden treasures and smart, thoughtful gifts. Do your imagination and mind a favor... Expand your horizons by visiting this amazing venue. A total treasure. No entrance fee, but donations accepted and appreciated.

The building is beautiful and the art was nice. If I were that type of person I'm sure I would have loved it. It was nice to bring the family to see new things and it's free.

Nicely curated museum, but pretty small. Was able to tour the exhibitions in about 30 minutes. Parking is on site. Building exterior is impressive. Nicely curated museum, but pretty small. Was able to tour the exhibitions in about 30 minutes. Parking is on site. Building exterior is impressive.

Always a pretty good place to spend an hour. They rotate out some of the art, so every few months there are new pieces to view.
