Although the exhibit is small, there's lots of information to learn. Having not known about Minneapolis' milling history, I found it interesting to see how the industry has developed. A highlight of the museum is the Flour Tower, which takes you on a freight elevator to show you different parts of the old factory. Definitely cheesy, but fascinating. Besides, there's a wonderful view of the Mississippi at the top.

Love the local history, it was great to see a focus on Minneapolis history and the importance of why Minneapolis is where it is at. The exhibits in the basement we're great for the kids to interact with. Lots of hand on learning of hydrodynamic Power and the importance history. Was only there for two hours but it's my third time though there. Would love to see more history on Minneapolis, maybe have some type of rotation exhibits. Best part was the view from the top, great place to view the city and appreciate the hard working people of Minnesota.

A great place to visit in the twin cities if your into local history. It takes about 2.5 hours and there is a guided part of the tour that is included in admission. Make sure you do the "Flour Tower" it is the main attraction for sure. I also really enjoyed the view of the river from the observation area.

We were here for a work party and it's a great venue for entertaining. Outside of that have been here outside of that as well. Very interesting to learn some Minnesota history. Must stop on the bridge to overlook St. Anthony Falls.

I love how they did their tour. It really took the info off the page and gave a sense of how things were. You sit in a large elevator and move up and down to different parts of the mill. There's also an excellent 19 minute video before the tour. You can top it off with a nice river view at the end. A cafe and gift shop are inside. There's street parking and also a parking garage directly across the street. Rental bikes are nearby and it looks like some nice riding/walking paths along the river and across the bridge. Just next door to the Guthrie Theater.
