GOOD DOG is a Mom 'n Pop hot dog and sausage "shop" on the North Shore (Chattanooga, TN). We serve all-beef and veggie DOGs, hand-case all of our sausages in-house, hand-cut and twice-fry our frites, and offer housemade ketchups and sauces to intensify your fry experience. We offer fresh salads, housemade soups, awesome sides, bake cupcakes and serve local cold beer on tap.. We promise you our best food with the best service we can offer. This is one of my family's favorite places to go when we visit Chattanooga. The hot dogs and brats are delicious (my personal favorite is the Jamaican Jerk brat). Fantastic toppings! The service is wonderful too. The staff is so friendly and it just adds to the fun and relaxed atmosphere. The fries are some of the best I've had.

I'm sad that I'm giving such a low review because we absolutely love the food. We went during May on a very hot day and the temperature inside was MISERABLE. We asked an employee if their AC was broken and she said no, it was just because it was an old building and poorly insulated. We understood that there was nothing they could do about that, but honestly there needed to be some box fans or something. There was absolutely no air circulation. We ate as fast as we could so we could get back to the car and air conditioning. It was 90 degrees outside and felt 10x better than the inside of the restaurant. So get your dogs to-go during the summer until they get some fans in there.

It's a cute little place with a variety of selection of hot dogs and sausages. I've heard nothing but raves of this place so I was excited to try it for the first time. Service was good, the food.. not so much. The hot dog unfortunately tasted as if I had marched into a grocery store and bought a cheap pack of hotdogs and heated it up in the microwave. For the price of the food, it just really isn't worth it.

For hot dog specialty place, hot dog is not good. I wanted to like this place, but I can not recommend this place. Even kid did not eat it after couple bike. 4 hot dog and one fry for $25. $1.50 hot dog and drink combo from Costco was better.

It is what it is.. hot dogs... but really, really good ones. try them out!
