I stay at Grandview Campground in Hardin Montana several times a year , I have found it to be one of the nicest places to spend time at .Close to several attraction's in the area , showers & restrooms are clean & plenty of hot water , also a nice clean laundry room. Pet's are always welcome . the sites are nice & large with picnic tables at each site & nice tenting area's. Owner Laurie Tchetter goes out of her way to make you feel at home . I'm always a happy camper when I spend time there.

Very lucky and got a great site!! Couple of trees for afternoon shade. Grass kept mowed. Large clean shower and restroom. Plenty of washers and dryers. Quiet at night, few trains in the distance.

If you don't expect much you will not be disappointed. Some large sites for big rigs. Paved entrance only. Some full time mobile home residences. Property is in need of updates and maintenance. A few pull through sites. Sites are level. Cable was digital on one site but not the second we moved to because of sewage stoppage. Few trees. Easy in/out from I-90. Very few good restaurants in Hardin. Local TV from Billings and only 3 channels. Lori and staff personable and accommodating along with the cats. Our choice is always a Class A park.

Just as you wouldn't have your child babysat by a sex offender I implore you to treat this campground with the same attitude. Don't give your patronage to someone so criminally minded. Long story short traveling west to visit my ailing mother we had called to reserve a spot thinking we were further along the road than we were and that the card info we gave was just holding the spot and we would pay when we arrived. Realizing that we should press on....within an hour of reserving we called to cancel apologizing for our preemptive planning. The manager was rude and very unprofessional and then told us she would still be charging our card. No where in the prior conversation were we told any kind of amount or asked for a verbal charge authorization. We were feeling very abused by the whole thing and decided to let the local sheriff know. He said they've gotten numerous unhappy camper calls regarding the campground before. And because the charge for 1 night is just under $30 it's too low to do a bank dispute. Terrible customer service....and by the way as we drove by we noticed the campground looked like the inside of a sardine can. If you're headed West, keep driving to Billings and stay at the Yellowstone River Campground....where they are extremely awesome.
