Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch

About

The best kept secret in Yellow Stone Country. 65 Site RV Park on 15 acres with two Trout Ponds running along the Boulder River. We are nestled between the Crazy Mountains and the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness.

Story

We can accommodate any rig, and we try very hard to make sure your group will have a location that will accommodate everyone together. We have 65 sites. Twelve full hooks ups with 50 amp service, water and sewer. Twenty river sites with 50 amp or 30 amp service and water. We are open from April through November. Please note some services could be limited in April and November due to temperatures in our area.

Most of our tent sites are along the beautiful Boulder River.

Be sure to ask us about our two Trout Ponds for your fishing fun. No License Required! If you need poles or bait we have them at no extra charge!!

We feature 4 log cabins located on the river. They accommodate 4 or 6 people. These have fire rings and tables on the river bank. Bring your sheets or sleeping bags these are camping cabins!

We have wireless internet service for our guests at no charge.

Our restrooms and showers are cleaned daily, private and free. We have 2 washing machines and 2 dryers for your laundry needs and a little library in the facility.

There is a Country Store, with souvenirs, shirts and hats, RV and camping supplies. We carry the best ice cream in Montana. We also have firewood so plan on staying warm by the fire in the evenings.

2016 Season Fishing Rules

Over the winter we drained and dug our ponds deeper. This had not been done in many years. As a result, we are starting this season with newly stocked ponds and less fish than usual. We are rebuilding our fish stock. We have a few changes to our fishing rules.

Before fishing come to the office to get a bucket.

No catch and release.

Fishing in large pond only.

Fish 14 inches and smaller are $.60 and inch.

Fish over 14 inches are $5.00 a pound.

Limit 2 fish per family per day.

Barbless hooks only.

Bring fish to the office porch to be cleaned and measured or weighed.

No fishing at any time while the the office is closed.

We know you love the ponds here at Spring Creek as much as we do, and are as vested in the work put into them as we are. The owner, Larolyn, is committed as are Rob & Tammy to providing the ponds for years to come. Thank you!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Well kept campground. Some odd rules but nothing one can't live with. Sites by river very nice. Trout ponds a nice touch. Trophy trout lurking in the ponds.

Very well taken care of and beautiful area. Staff is friendly for thr most part but really frowned on my brining my dog even though he didn't go in the cabin. I brought him anyhow and it was fine.

Enjoyed our stay except for WI-FI. It does not work on the South end--really don't know about the rest of the camp. "NOTE" If it doesn't work, then please don't advertise it.
