Pretty organically small, pleasant bus station with great urbanization around it, with a very clean feel to the environment and coordinating location in one of the central areas of a small town and accessibility to the desired affordability
The bus station was cool. Nice no problem there. The one star isn't for the bus station itself but for Greyhound as a whole. I just spent over 37 hours on layovers for a trip that should have only been 19 hours. Between the bus breaking down, storms, and riding in a circle because they misprinted my ticket I would say think about taking the train or a plane if you can because they don't have the customers best interest in mind.
Very dangerous transfer point .. x prisoners are released close by, And some folks are super sketchy and cringe.. there is security but inside the building so try not to talk with folks carrying a red mesh bag these are x convicts who just got released, some been gone 15+years.. not all are bad people but it's hard to know so stay inside and get in there quick because seating is limited try not to stray away outside...
The lady that worked that morning was awesome! She was very clear and caring when she told me about my journey. The place was small but clean and had vending machines.
Wonderful little station. Greyhound has a proud history there it seems I always enjoy going thru Big Springs ., Texas. Consistently service oriented.
I paid for a trip on August 23 from san angelo tx to midlann tx ...a stop was made in big spring shortly after the bus broke down ..we were voted out of the blue at 8 at night on the way to midlann the bus help would come out of the way for us, that is, I would arrive at dawn at my destination when I was supposed to arrive at 9 ... I had to pay a not cheap uver to the city in the end I paid for a trip on greyhound that did not take me to my destiny
Small, pretty and comfortable clean bus station
Great staff friendly answers all your questions. It's clean and is a comfortable atmosphere. Wish I could say that for the buses and bus drivers. Most were rude bossy and I even heard one got fired for drinking on the job. So sad make the station staff look bad.
Lots of scruffy men wearing jackets smoking cigarettes with a stripped cat looking for handouts. Some of these men will try to pet the cat. The closest I succeeded was a 12 inch distance by throwing hot dog meat from a man selling food out of his trunk. Everything is $3, but the hot dogs are the best. It is two hot dogs with chilli and cheese combined into one. Wheelchair accessible.
Attacked by ants the whole time I was there.. 5 1/2 hrs layover.. the lady was super sweet though
