Ground Inn is the best. Incredibly welcoming, clean and comfortable. Gail and the rest of the crew go out of their way to make your stay perfect. You'll find yourself not wanting to leave and really looking forward to going back. It really feels like a home away from home.

I'm ever so glad I chose to stay here! The staff were super friendly and extremely accommodating. The rooms are well appointed and the guesthouse is located within walking distance of downtown Olympia. Added to which, the rates for rooms were very reasonable indeed. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

We weren't there very long, but that was long enough to gain a good experience. Communication was in a timely manner from the beginning. The place was super cute when we drove up. My coworker and I stayed in a 6 bed dorm. The beds and linens were clean and super comfy which in most cases all I can ask for!! We arrived later in the afternoon and left around 8am the following morning. Everyone we met was cool and the continental breakfast was nice. Although I didn't have time to really partake, there was bread for toast, homemade jam and butter, yogurt and some fruit, almond milk and hot tea and coffee. The place was decorated with art from a local artist. The location is also great. You are in walking distance to the waterfront and downtown. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean comfortable bed, good peeps and a great location!

Amazing space! Super friendly people, beautiful art everywhere, comfy beds, hot showers, nice kitchen, great energy and very relaxing. Great location in downtown!

My family and I stayed at the groundinn for a month.  The manager there made it very uncomfortable.  Unhealthy hygiene on her part.  Smelled of body odor and heavy alcohol use.  Staying one or two days people wouldn't notice but the problems arise if you stay any longer than that.  Aside from that amber the manager never cleaned the room or changed the bed sheets unless we went out of our way to let her know. Constantly had a bad attitude and was very lazy.  I would not recommend this place for anyone.
