Voted best automotive service in the area, GT Automotive Center has been serving the Ambler, Ft. Washington and Lower Gwynedd area since 1979. We offer professional automotive service specializing in complete automotive maintenance and tires for import and domestic vehicles. We take pride in offering our customers quality service at a fair price. Our technicians are ASE and AASP certified and we use the latest tools and equipment when servicing your vehicle. GT Automotive is simply the BEST in show!  The detail that is given to each service appt is by far what  makes this place the very model of what automotive service SHOULD be.  It starts with the phone call....whether it's Gail or Vicky or Harry or George who answer, you just know they will make your need for help a priority and find a way to accommodate.  We simply wouldn't still be driving both of our older model cars if GT Automotive and their team of EXCEPTIONAL service people and technicians weren't overseeing their care!  THANK YOU for always looking out for us, guys...we really appreciate it!  Anyone who is looking for a reason to change service centers, I hope my words help convince you that it's the way to go!

Sometimes a new customer with a car in need of service in a bad way will be referred to GT Automotive by a friend or coworker because the friends car we service is always in good condition.  Unfortunately the new customer's car is not.  When we explain why their car is in poor condition they sometimes become offended.  They often say they don't pay that much for service and we say, Exactly!  Price is what you pay, but what value did they receive?

Have trusted our cars to Harry and George and their team for many years. They are up to date on latest trends, technology, recalls, etc. Very welcoming family-run business. Work is always top notch.

I was completely taken advantage of today. Service for a rear break replacement (just breaks, not rotors) should cost under $100. They charged me DOUBLE. The cost for their breaks were also on the higher end. I would not even complain about that if they didn't blatantly scalp me. The guy was pushy and tried to tell me that my other service station (Flourtown Service Center) sucked at their job and aren't as thorough as GT. I knew better but they wouldn't budge. When I called Flourtown afterward to get a quote, they assured me they give the same services as GT but for half the price. Unbelievable! If they weren't booked all week, I would have never gone here. I will not be returning! Always, always go to Flourtown.
