These people totally jacked up my finances taxes. We just received a letter from the IRS requesting certain forms. We took the letter to H&R because they filed everything wrong. They had no idea of what to do with the letter or how to fix the problem they caused. Now we're going to be out $2500.00 that we can't afford. If I wanted my taxes filed wrong I would have done it myself. There is no 100% guarantee with these people. DO NOT USE THEM!

All we did was make an inquiry as to what the tax return process entailed.  We were on the phone with Caroline, she asked me what documentation I had, I was not sure and I said so.  She hung up on me.  First and LAST time talking to these people.

I've never had this much trouble utilizing H+R Block. In the past, we've been in + out in about 1.5 hours + had taxes filed same day. This time, It's been 2.5 weeks. I was called to come in + sign, but the I'm told, she was missing information. When I dropped what she needed off, I was told my papers would be ready to sign next day. It's been 4 since then.
I am now on hold waiting for someone to find my paperwork, because it's not where it should be.

Thought I would throw in an actual review verses an advertisement :)

We have been going to this location for several years and have been seeing the same tax preparer. We have had fantastic service. Zero complaints. We know we could possibly save money using a different service or a program, but there is a lot to be said of a relationship you develope with the professionals you are involved with. We are on a first name basis, each year she greets us warmly, asks how our children are and we are comfortable knowing that should we be audited, they are there for us. We have close friends that use their service as well including the same preparer. (Katherine, do not ever retire) I would encourage you to try them.
