I made a 3 hour long appointment to get highlights more than a week out. Showed up for my appointment and was told They didnt have an appointment for me. They said they transitioned from a paper appointment book to a computer system and that must be where the problem occurred. I am not a trusting person when it comes to my hair and if a salon can't even keep their appointments strtaight how can I trust them to do my hair right. I will not be using this or any Hair Cuttery again.

After 10 months of letting my hair grow I decided it was finally time for a trim. Okay, maybe trim is an understatement. My hair needed some serious TLC. So I stopped by Hair Cuttery off of Princess Ann on a Saturday afternoon. I was anticipating at least a 15 minute wait but was pleasantly surprised when I was quickly attended to. My stylist was Ashley, and I am now convinced she might be a hair styling goddess. I sat down in the chair and gave her a vague description of what I wanted, and then we went back for her to wash my hair. Once we got back to the chair, Ashley worked her magic. She did a few things that I REALLY appreciated: 1. She didn't upsell me on any services or products. 2. She didn't give me a lecture on the quality of my hair. 3. She cut it a little longer and let me decide if I wanted to go shorter or not. So not only did I walk out with EXACTLY the hair cut I wanted, but at no point during the process did I feel uncomfortable, judged, or nervous. I can honestly not say enough how much I appreciate that. As someone with damaged and naturally thin hair, I hate having my hair done because I always get a lecture and then products shoved in my face. I often cave and buy products that are never as good as promised and that I don't end up using. This wasn't the experience I wanted and luckily it wasn't the experience I had with Ashley. As for the salon itself, I think its really nice for a Hair Cuttery. I've been to some that are a little run down, but not this one. It was clean and tidy. Every one of the stylists seemed friendly and also had really trendy hair. At a few points, it definitely felt like you were in a high-end salon. After I left, I immediately texted a few friends in the area to recommend Ashley and this location. I've been to a variety of salons from the high end to the cheaper franchises, but the hair cut I got for $23 was the best I've gotten in recent years, maybe even my whole life! Definitely check this place out if you are looking for an affordable cut.

Danielle is the best stylist I've been too. She takes the time to get to know her customer and never rushes the job. She is very thorough and has an eye for excellence. I've been going there for about 2 years and wouldn't think about going anywhere else.

Signed up for the HC app reserved a time, walked in with the kiddies with 4 people ahead of me and was seen first.....My lil man was seen by Chris (Awesome purple hair) and my Bella was seen by Fran (Beautiful blonde hair). I think this establishment is wonderful and accommodating to the kiddies. My 4 year absolutely loves getting his hair cut with the lollipops at the end of course. Chris was awesome with my son, Chris was able to speak to him not at him... love the work ethics and customer service. Thank you very much.....
