After 5 years of doing my hair on my own, I decided take a plunge and visit a cosmetologist. Kay was referred to me by a coworker, and based on her apparent background with natural hair, I made an appointment. Kay is warm, inviting, knowledgeable and honest. I loved her energy from the start, which made me feel comfortable leaving my hair in her hands. After her meticulous washing and use of treatments to cleanse and revive my strands, the results of my silk press did not disappoint. My only regret is that I had not discovered her sooner.

Hair's Kay is a Salon located at 20 Ashmun St. New Haven CT., like no other salon I've been to. I've been a customer for twelve years plus. It a place that you are felt very welcome as soon as you walk in. Where women can talk network among each other, laugh and get some of that Jamaican flavor at the same time. Kay's knowledge of ethnic hair is phenomenal! She deserves ten stars.......
