I always stay at Hampton because, after along day on the road, I've come to appreciate their consistent comfort, service, and quality. Not so the Conway, AR Hampton Inn. The staff is nice enough, but the rooms--at least those I was given on the first floor--were awful. The first reeked of disinfectant, so I requested a different room. That one smelled moldy and the carpet wasn't just moist (see other reviewers comments), it was wet. I asked the desk staff if they had rinsed the carpet or something, and he just smiled and asked whether I wanted another room. Like others, I found the air conditioner loud and the breakfast choices skimpy. Before you write me off as a crank, read the other, similar reviews below. I suspect the first floor rooms have a seepage problem. If you must stay there, demand second floor or higher. Better yet, go elsewhere.

Breakfast was good. Outdoor pool was clean. Front desk wasn't staffed during the day when I got locked out of my room. The maid literally only made the beds, nothing else. Cleaning staff left a mop soaked in cleaning chemicals inside the elevator, made it almost unrideable for a good hour until it aired out. Good hotel, average staff.

Wonderful weekend stay. I would've given it 5 starts but Sundays breakfast was continental at best. I think they ran out of food over the weekend.

Friendly staff! No microwave in room and muggy. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

Pros: Staff was super polite and friendly. Cons: everything else. We checked into our King bed room on the 3rd floor. The air was so thick with mold and mildew that we could not breathe. We were moved down the hall and the room did not reek of mold, however, we discovered the tv did not work. They offered to move us gain and we declined and asked for a refund. We were given the refund no problem. We stayed at another, newer Hilton property across the street which was the same price for a much better hotel.
