Situated near the Nashville Gulch district, this Hampton Inn is a quick jaunt to the main Broadway strip. Also nearby is Hattie B's, the local favorite for hot chicken. Unfortunately, the location and free parking are about its only positives. The rooms are cramped and ceilings are aggressively low. Claustrophobia really starts to set in after a couple hours, less the tiny corner window, indicating your only sign of the outside world. Breakfast is standard except that it's served in their basement, along with their windowless gym. Remodeling needs to be in this hotel's short term forecast as signs of wear and tear are starting to show. Come for the cheaper Nashville prices but don't spend much of your precious time here.

Five stars just given the sub $180/night price when everything else was $300 or so. Clean, largish rooms, no frills but nice enough. Shuttle to & from downtown runs every 20 mins, free and clean. Great stay overall. Special shout out to Jamal at the front desk for helping to secure us rooms at the last minute when Hampton central operators couldn't seem to find any rooms within 50 miles. Appreciate the level of service.

Really nice hotel in a perfect location. The only problem we had was with the complimentary shuttle. It took us downtown, 1.5 miles from the hotel, no problem but when we called to get picked up the driver said it would take 20-25 minutes because it was rush hour but it ended up taking 45 minutes for him to arrive. It took all of 5 minutes to get back to the hotel after he picked us up and traffic wasn't bad at all. Otherwise we loved the place and would 100% stat there again.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... We stayed here for one night before a procedure at the Vanderbilt Clinic. FYI, the clinic is partnered with the hotel to offer discounts to guests, which is great. The room was very comfortable and clean and had some high-end finishes to make it feel extra nice. The fitness room was adequate for a basic workout routine and the continental breakfast was delicious.

The staff were very efficient and helpful, also pleasant. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast was really great. They also provide a free shuttle to Vanderbilt Hospital and several close restaurants, etc. Was a really great stay.
