It was the location to the Broadmoor World Arena that brought us here. Our king room was clean, modern and spacious. Typical free breakfast. You get what you pay for. We encountered a minor issue. The hot water ran out. Although the front desk was not very sympathetic to the situation, the maintenance crew had it fixed within 20-30 min.

I haven't stayed at many Hampton Inns, however, I decided to give this one a shot in Colorado Springs. It's located next to a large shopping center which gives you plenty of activities to do if you're not into the nature scene (which means you also shouldn't be in Colorado). The hotel is conveniently located close to the freeway which takes you straight to Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. The hotel is well-maintained with comfortable beds, a fridge and microwave, and a fairly nice bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was decent with a mix of hot items and your standard continental breakfast fare... however, I have to say the waffles here were amazing enough to offset the fake tasting eggs that are served. Service staff was nice and friendly... when you could find them. This hotel is fairly short-staffed, with the front desk staff needing to leave the desk unattended at times. Only major ding for this property.

This hotel was very nice and clean with comfortable beds. The only strange thing was the coffee maker was in the bathroom and my wife refused to use it. Coffee was available all day in the lobby so it wasn't to big of a deal. The breakfast was the usual eggs, waffles, muffins and was good. I will be staying here again the next time I'm in springs.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and smells wonderful. We'll definitely stay there again.
