Pleasant stay. Getting on base was easy and the personnel was at gate check was always friendly. 

Check in was simple with courteous staff. Rooms are affordable at $44 night, can't beat that price. 
Rooms are spacious, clean comes equipped with microwave, mini fridge and freezer, safe in closet, desk and chairs, bed was comfy with fluffy pillows. Showers were always hot, temp in rooms were preset due to being old style barracks (I assume) 
I would recommend anyone who is retiree or passing through to stay here. Very pleasant stay.

I needed a handicap facility and the Pikes Peak Lodge did not disappoint. Our apartment was fully equipped, which we did not expect. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was phenomenal. I made several calls with questions and everyone I spoke with was professional and courteous. I would recommend anyone who has the chance to stay at the "Lodge" take the opportunity. I do not believe you will be disappointed.

I stayed here for 3 months. The housekeeping service is exceptional. I had zero theft problems and they usually did the extra stuff that other places would not. With that said there hours seemed to vary within a three hour time span during the weekdays (11-13) and 1300-1500 on the weekends.  All of the normal amenities are offered from the front desk that would be expected. The rooms come with a fridge, microwave, TV, and a fan. There is also a small coffee maker. I stayed in a one bedroom solo room and it had the normal bathroom setup of a sink, mirror, toilet, and shower/bathtub. There is also a desk, a table to eat at, two nightstands, and a recliner, as well as two body mirrors. There is not a main light but there is one near the the door, along with a lamp on each nightstand, a desk light, and a larger lamp. There are also two closets with one containing a safe. The usual ironing board setup is in the other closet. There is free WiFi which runs a 1-5mb download. Each floor has two washers and two dryers so that is convenient. They are free to use. There is a dayroom on the first floor with a TV,vending machines, and couches. The two biggest cons are that the heating/AC wasn’t on when the usual class that uses these rooms was not here, and the walls are quite thin. Another thing to note is that the parking lot does not have any lighting. With that said, the gym and dinning facility are both within walking distance as well as McDonalds and the shoppette is within a mile. The commissary and BX are not within reasonable walking distance though. There are quite a bit of food options in Colorado Springs and there is a Walmart about 5 minutes away. Denver is also only about an hour away so if you have the opportunity to visit it, I would recommend that. The price varies depending on why you are here but it’s a nice place to stay at overall.

Told us they were pet friendly, we confirmed twice yet upon check out were charged 150. Why would I pay $200 plus for a room that's average when I could have paid the same amount for a much better hotel that wouldn't have charged me 150 for carpet cleaning. The workers should be more informed instead of misleading people.
