Broke my ankle on a Friday, the ER was quick to see me and took good care of me. Ended up back in the ER on Sunday because my appendix decided it needed to come out, had surgery and spent the night. On Wednesday I came back for ankle surgery. This whole crappy week was made slightly less so by the great staff at the hospital. From the doctors, surgeons, nurses and even housekeeping. Everyone was extremely nice, answered every question we had and seemed to genuinely care about me. It made me feel a lot better considering the situation. All of this said, I hope I don't have to see all of you for a long time :)

The E.R. is beyond ridiculous. It stands as a waiting room for those waiting to be admitted. The E.R. staff tends not to check on the patients that are in limbo, those without a room. These are the patients that need extreme help and attention, hence the doctor wanting them to be admitted. During shift change the volume from the employees was to the extreme. I am extremely sad that my dad was brought here. We got here around 1 p.m. and it's now almost 8 p.m., still in limbo, still waiting for test results, still waiting for someone to make sure my dad is ok. I am scared to leave him as I'm sure he'll be left to fend for himself. I tried to give this hospital 0 stars, but that wasn't a possibility. Please think about another hospital when your loved one needs care.

This hospital has poor service all the way around. They sit patients in the hallway and discuss your medical diagnosis and treatment which is a major HIPAA violation. It took a total of 11 hours to see a social worker. They said they only have one social worker per shift so they are under staffed for the amount of patients they serve. We were in the ER for almost 2 days and only saw them empty the trash and they didn't disinfect anything and several people came in with the flu. When people come and go all they do is change the sheets on the bed without wiping it down. They wouldn't allow me to leave my son to shower or eat so you would think they would bring a guest tray with no questions asked. I practically had to beg for food on several occasions. This is the first and last time I will ever come here again. This is a time where I wish I was close to home so we could go to Beamount hospital. Henry Ford sucks.

I had a procedure done on Monday, March 6th. The nurses and Dr. that performed said procedure were great. The anesthesiologist however, Dr. Awad, was awful. When he came in to ask questions just before the surgery, he rolled his eyes, and rushed through everything, like I was wasting his time. When I awoke from surgery, everything felt fine, with the exception of my throat. I could not talk for two days, and it still hurts to swallow. I can only imagine the lack of care that I received from him, while I was under anesthesia. And I have yet to receive a follow up call from the hospital.

I went to hospital 3/20/18 received some of the worst treatment waited 1/2 to see an ER doctor why in severe pain, they did not care they gave me a little pill in the mean time to take away my pain which didn’t help because I threw it up...had a cat scan done which they said I was fine they seen an enlarged cyst on my overy the doctor stated I would have to wait for a untersound tech. To come in because it wasn’t one in the hospital at the time mind you it’s 5:00am don’t make any sense they discharged me I went to Troy Beaumont hospital right after long and behold I had a ruptured cyst I could have died and the hospital staff and ER doctor didn’t care!!! I will never return here ever again worst hospital ever!!!
