If you make a reservation at this location, do not count on it being honored. This poor guy can't handle it. He says they are an auto collision car rental and they are not obligated to serve regular customers with reservations. And I'm supposed to make arrangements with the local office. Nowhere did it state that when I made my reservation online and in all the years I have rented cars, I have never done that, even at this location. He also has issues with the Hertz corporation and every time I rent there he has something negative to say about them. About a year ago he claimed he was working on a rental app so that customers could make online reservations more easily from any rental agency, not just Hertz, but I guess that didn't work out because he's still stuck in his customer service job. I have rented from several Hertz locations in the Sacramento area as well as Hertz in AZ and TX. I have tried other agencies but come back to Hertz because I can usually find a good discount rate, and I like their rewards program -- I once had a free rental for a week. With my rewards status I am used to getting a free upgrade when I pick up and 9 times out of 10 all I have to do is show my ID and they hand me the keys and contract for a clean car, that sometimes has XM radio and bluetooth, which can come in handy on road trips. I have even taken the opportunity to drive the rental car to another location to switch it out for a car I prefer. I will rent from Hertz again, but not from the Power Inn location. I reserved a car for a 2:30 pm pick up. I was there at 2:30, but there was no one there to give me my rental. I waited as long as I could. I had to get to work. I had hoped to pick the car up before work because I had to leave early the next morning to get to an out of town appointment with a specialist. I tried calling the local number that was posted, but there was no answer, so I called the corporate number to complain and reschedule the pick up. After a long wait time, they put me on hold then tried to transfer me to the local number again because they refused to give me the rate I originally reserved the car for. Needless to say there still was no answer at the local number, so I called corporate again and changed the reservation for 7:30 the next morning and at the higher rate. Of course the guy didn't show up on time again, and I didn't get my car until after 8 am. Yes, I was extremely angry and frustrated, so he implied that I was ignorant, called me delusional because he claimed he was handling a reservation at 2:15 and everything was the person at the very top of the corporation's fault, not his, and that since they are an auto collision shop car rental he is in and out all the time (I don't know why this location only has one person). He also insisted that he needed my credit card info because it's not stored in the system, which I know isn't true because other locations don't ask for it. He also doesn't print out the contract like other sites do. I suspect he doesn't know how to use the system correctly. When I called corporate they said that someone would call me regarding my complaint, but I never heard from them. I used to rent from Mather Field, but when Intel left they changed their hours which is why I switched to Power Inn, but now I will have to find a different location. I really don't want to have to deal with a customer service person. I just want to pick up the keys and go, and I like to be able to drop the car off after hours. I'm usually a very easy customer. I clean out my garbage, refuel and return the car early. There just needs to be someone there to hand me the keys.

I have dealt with Sai many times and he provides great service for our collision shop and customers who need rentals. He goes above and beyond to help me out.

No complaints. Great vehicle, super fast rental and return (was in and out in minutes), and staff was awesome.

I absolutely love this location. The service is always timely, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and vehicle available is superb. I highly recommend this location to anyone traveling in the area. You will not be disappointed.

I'm very disappointed in the customer service at this location. Hertz lost my personal business and the business of my organization. If you want to know my story, here it is: Called around for quotes and Hertz won. My organization was in need of 3 15-Passenger vans. I was informed that there were no vans in the Sacramento area and that they would get them from SF International Airport. I was to pick up the vans Saturday morning and drop them off that night. Not a problem. I called back to confirm when they would be open in the morning and was informed that they now don't work on the weekends. This change was only broght to my attention because I called to reconfirm the rentals. I was then informed that I had no registration in the system. I was directed to the general 800 Hertz inquiry line. I found through that line that the local office scheduled me to pick up my 3 vans at the SF International Airport. This just is not possible so I asked how to change this and got redirected to the SF international Airport line. They found the reservation and found a note that the vans could not be moved to the Sacramento location. After all of this, I was not able to get the vehicles promised and our organization was not able to execute the mission as planned. This will not happen again as myself and my organization will never use this branch ever again.
