I pass many opportunities to rent or lease a vehicle on my way to Rachal's Glen NH Hertz. I pass them because Rachal is the best. She is professional and courteous to a fault. She keeps her appointments and she explains everything in a clear and concise manner. She keeps her promises and she will work with you to get the best product for your task.I have rented Mustangs, box trucks and vans and each time has been a pleasant experience.

My husband and I transport new RVs to dealers around the United States. In different area we book rental cars so we can drive to the main city to fly out. We book with Hertz because it was our only way to Portland OR. An hour before my pick up I received a voice message from Susan stating she didn't have any vehicles. I returned her call to see what was my opinions. She was VERY RUDE she told me to call Enterprise in Conway NH. I tried to see if they should have cars later she wouldn't let me finish speaking repeatedly saying "call Enterprise". When I was finally able to finish my sentence I explained that Enterprise rates was higher and that Hertz shouldn't have allowed me to book if they didn't have any available cars. She Rudly said "well let me call Enterprise and see if they would honor our rate" then she just hung up. I never heard back from Susan if that really was her name. Very poor customer service for this locate. We still are without a rental car stuck in Conway NH... no uber and cabs are too high to go 52 miles. Hertz is off of our list for renting they will leave you stranded they do not care about their customers.

Rachel at Hertz was unbelievable.  I was staying in Jackson had book a car the previous week.  Rachel called me Monday afternoon a couple hours before I was going to pick up the rental car.  The cars that were suppose to come back in were not being returned and I was out of luck.  I had a meeting in Boston the following day that I could not miss.  Rachel made it her personal mission to find me a car, which I might add is not an easy thing to do in the Jackson NH area at 3 in the afternoon.  Rachel took ownership of the situation and somehow found me a car.  I can not express how thankful I am and how professional and kind Rachel was from start to finish. Thank you so much for going above and beyond and for saving the day.

Cheapest in the valley. They also do AAA discounts. Just call ahead of time if you are going to be earlier than your scheduled reservation, they may be out of the office. That's the only reason for the 4 stars because I had to wait an hour for them to come back.
