I used Hertz on my recent trip to Nebraska to take in the Nebraska/Ohio State football game.  Then, I extended my trip for another three days as I was provided an opportunity to hunt pheasant in Kimball, SD.  Hertz was extremely easy to deal with and extending the time period with the same car was no problem at all.  Turning in the car,  dropping off my info and key was as convenient as could be by taking advantage of their drop box. 
 In no time, I was on my way home.  I did not have to wait at all, on either end of the transaction.  It was a totally positive experience.

We were on vacation, when our car developed a horrible tick. Not believing it would be wise to drive it 1500 miles home, we went looking for a viable , affordable option to getting home. We decided to rent a car, and the Hertz dealer was near where we were staying , so we went to the downtown dealer. Unfortunately, the manager Lisa didn't have any vehicles available to rent. She was wonderful and called the airport location to see if they had something for us. Thankfully, they did. WE drove there and received a great car and Tim was wonderful ! He got us in and out quickly and efficiently. We were able to get home safely and worry free. The help from the Hertz centers made the last leg of our journey a lot of fun !! Thank you  so much for all the help you gave us in getting home.

Being  a Gold member I usually have to search the Gold area for a better car or push a counter person for the free upgrade.  However when a arrived at Lincoln I was surprised to find out the attendant had already upgraded me and he asked it that car model met with my satisfaction.  Great Service at the Lincoln, NE Airport thanks, Hertz

Booked a compact SUV but got a dodge journey instead, which is an upsize (good thing). Only complains I have is that the car exterior is not clean and the car wasn't really "comfortable" to drive, (alignment was off and car vibrates) in compared to other vehicles i rented before this.
