Terrible service! The SUV I rented was not available so I was given another rental. It was filthy and I had to spend two hours cleaning the car before my brother, who is recovering from cancer, could get inside. It smelled of cigarette smoke and was also low on gas.

I reserved a vehicle and paid online on 1/4 for 1/18.  Upon arrival to pickup the vehicle on 1/18, the office attendant stated they had ZERO vehicles in for me to rent!  I could wait about 30 or so minutes for a small vehicle to return.  Keep in mind I rented and paid for a mid size vehicle and this office had none.  What was the purpose if placing a reservations if you all just rent all vehicles and not consider upcoming reservations.  This is ridiculous and I will NEVER rent another vehicle from this location nor recommend.  The other option would be to wait around to see what comes in...umm NOT, I place the reservations for 0800 for a purpose.  We needed to get on the road and travel to NC and waiting was not an option.  

Needless to say, I cancelled and was received all monies back because of the circumstance.  The professionalism of the attendant that day was so nonchalant and uncaring.  Do not rent from this location.  They literally screwed up my entire trip!  Very disappointed.  I would truly rate them NO stars, but that's not an option.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERTZ!!!  If I could give the FT Campbell Hertz 0 stars I would.  I had a minivan reserved about 3 x weeks out.  The day I came to pick up, they didn't have a vehicle for me.  The lady working the front tried to be apologetic, but it seemed far from a genuine apology.  I left and went straight to Enterprise, with no reservation, and they had a minivan right there waiting for me.  Moral of this story: Always rent from Enterprise and never ever from Hertz.

Worst place ever! I called a month in advance to book a reservation for thanksgiving weekend  I show up 10 mins before my pick up time and the door is locked but has a sign saying they are open and will be back to the office shortly. I wait 20 mins only to go in and them tell me they don't have the mid size suv I reserved because they gave it to someone else. He then proceed to tell me he had someone bringing an suv at noon, and he called to see where they were. After getung off the phone he told me they only had cars available and nothing larger. He started making excuses that this time of year is busy for them and I said yeah that's why I called and made a reservation because I knew thwre probably wouldn't be anything available to walk in and pick up. This is a horrible business!

I arranged for a vehicle to be delivered to Campbell AAF operations and it was not there when I arrived. Since it was 7 pm, I had no other choices and had to take a taxi to my hotel. The next morning, I spoke with "Chris" and he had no explanation, just "sorry". Next time, I'll try Enterprise.
