I usually rent at the hertz by speedway, but since it's temp. Closed I decided to rent from here, worst mistake of my life, the customer service at this place was horrible. The lady at the front desk added an insurance to my total, I asked her to remove it and she said she couldn't because the computer would freeze on the order. I mind you I had to pick up the car at two different places because it wasn't where it was promised originally, so I was tired, running around in the sun and when my card declined because of the added insurance I couldn't use any other form of payment, I had until 6 to decide what I had to do. She didn't give me any options whatsoever, until my kid politely said "we've been waiting patiently for three hrs is there anything we can do?" She said I could call hertz to get a refund, after three hrs of making it seem like I couldn't get one she finally decided to speak up. Never ever going to this place because they will treat you like trash.

The customer service was horrendous. We returned the car and they attempted to charge $300 for a cleaning fee because there was dog hair. After two hours of arguing they still charged us $150. Which is even more than I paid for my dog. They acted as though we had spilled red wine on white upholstery. We wanted to extend the rental one day to vacuum it whixh would have taken ten minutes but they threatened us with a $175 rental fee if we did that. Apparently we aren't allowed to travel with our pets even hacing covered the seats with dog blankets. We have travelled with our dogs before in a rental and never once had a problem. This location is horrible. Do not go to it even if convenient. It's not worth being treated like a child.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We were picked up from Watson Chevrolet to come get a rental car after we got into an accident with our car we dropped off. The woman who picked us up drove 50 in a 25 and almost caused us to get into an accident when a car backed out of a parking spot and our driver was going around 35 to 40. Then we get into the building itself they were just plain rude!! The female at the front gave off an attitude after telling us we needed a 24 hour reservation before getting a car. Which we understand but the attitude was NOT needed along with the snobby remarks from the woman. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Didn't even get in my rental. Hertz will forever be off my list of car rental companies. The phone customer service was rude. I called Enterprise and they got me in a car quickly. For paying a couple dollars more it was worth it.

I went on line to rent a car and set it up to be picked up and dropped off at 800 E 2nd Street a couple of blocks from the Amtrak station downtown. When I called from the hotel on Monday they drove me to the office on Oracle a half hour from my hotel and said I have to return it here the following Monday but no one will be there to take me back to the train station. I will need to call a cab to get me back to the train. The whole point of setting it up prior to our trip was to make it a smooth transition and now there is all of this. I rented a car in Florida from Hertz and had problems I rented a car in upstate New York and had problems and now in Tucson.... I'm done!
