We started out with a guy that was a complete jerk. He repeatedly told me I was wrong when I would explain what I wanted. We ended up asking to look around with out him. We then had someone else come up to us asking if we needed help and he saved the whole experience. He answered all of our questions and showed me everything I wanted. Their prices are amazing.

Prices and selection is great. Salespeople are hit/miss on their knowledge of products.

Sales associates were very rude including the manager, Jason. They quoted us a price and when we went to pick up appliances they wouldn't honor that price. It was a 50$ difference. The appliances were even loaded on the truck and they came and took them off. One of the associates refused to help us after learning another associate had helped us the day before and he wouldn't be earning the commission. The appliances didn't come in the day they were supposed to and they never called to inform us. We drove all the way there to learn the appliances wouldn't be there for another day. I decided to call customer service and they defended Jason explaining that Corry the sales associate didn't have the authority to give us the 50$ off special. We went down the road to Home Depot where the sales associate was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We purchased the same set for less than if we received the 50$ off special at hhgregg.

My first experience with our refrigerator was not good. Once again our refrigerator broke down with in 6 months of being fixed the first time. This time our experience with HHGregg was really good. The warranty company was not a good experience. They only gave us a $191.00, even though the warranty was for 5 years. That was all that was left because the repair was so expensive the first time it broke. Carol at HHGregg Vendor Relations Department went above and beyond to help us. She made sure we were taken care of and that we had a new refrigerator that week. We also appreciate the help Cory the store manager in Champaign did. It is one appliance its hard to be without. So again thank you.

My husband and I bought a $180 Sharp microwave 3 months ago and now the display doesn't light up. I called hhgregg and went through their automated system for repairs. I got a lady with some other company in Cleveland. She rudely told me they don't service Illinois anymore and I should call hhgregg. I called hhgregg again and they said I need to contact Sharp directly. I called Sharp and was ON HOLD OVER 30 MINUTES waiting for a "customer service representative". . .some customer service! I would not buy a Sharp product again; based on their hold times for repairs, they have a LOT of issues. Also, I would recommend buying local from Champaign Appliance; I'm pretty sure they would call the manufacturer themselves.
