I've had my bike tuned and serviced here several times now. They always get the work done before the promised time! Bike is received in perfect riding condition. Yes, a little pricey, but you have to pay for good service. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. I recommend this bike shop. 5 stars.

Nice clean store but the staff aren’t too personable.  I brought my bike in for a tune up.  They charged me $75 and it took a whole week to get the appointment.  While the staff weren’t rude they certainly weren’t very talkative.  It’s all a bunch of young guys who seem to have other more pressing things to do.  Next time I need parts or a tuneup I will go elsewhere.

These people are awesome. Whenever I had had my bike serviced, their prices have always been fair. In fact, I was looking for a key part when I was getting my components upgraded at another store ( had not yet visited this place yet), and they found a used extra and just gave it to me. Ever since that experience, I have always gone to them first.

I think I'm discriminating when it comes to bike shops.  I've worked and hung out in some which I consider to be excellent, and had miserable experiences at others.  The latter are always rooted in some sort of condescension and refusal to meet the customer (me) where they (I) am at (apologies for ending a sentence in a preposition).  

None of that here.  I found everybody I dealt with to be polite and enthusiastic.  It's hard to imagine them blowing anyone off or giving bad advice.  Rather, I got a lot of individual attention and had no compunction about purchasing a bicycle from them.  

They have a lot of floor space and thus their stock of clothing, parts, tools, accessories and nutrition is ample.  They stock a range of bikes from one to five dollar signs and though I don't know this for a fact, I imagine it would be a good place for a beginner to get their feet wet in my favorite activity. 

ABQ has plenty of shops to choose from; I'm glad to have had multiple positive experiences in this one.
